Introducing the Cara Creek Team

Cara Creek began as an idea, built by hand by Rory and Ashley and beginning as a tent in a wild and overgrown forest on the side of the creek. From that small seedling has grown a thriving web of friends, hosts, guests, volunteers and, team members.
As Cara Creek expands, we’re more grateful than ever to be cultivating our incredible support team, helping us handle the day to day rhythms while staying rooted in the vision and intention that we’ve held since first arriving in this space.
So we’d like to take a moment to introduce some of the key members of our team...
In the kitchen, Hannah leads the design and planting of our kitchen garden and food forest, as well as reaching out and connecting with farms and growers as we continue to source as much as we can of our food locally. Hannah has been part of the Cara Creek Eco Lodge team from the beginning — 2019 — when we first opened. Hannah is an invaluable member of the team not only during retreat season, but all year round as she designs and cares for our kitchen garden.
To many of you, Ashley needs no introduction, as she has played an important role in smooth and meaningful retreat experiences for all our hosts and guests since opening the doors of Cara Creek.
Online, Helen's beautiful photographs continue to showcase not only the work that happens, but the energy, heart and natural beauty that radiates from the land. Every season brings a fresh perspective and a new beauty to our valley. Guests often mention that her images give you the feeling of knowing the place before you arrive.
Helen also built Cara Creek’s website from the ground up and is constantly updating it with new offerings to be explored.
And of course Rory continues to bring his energy and creativity to developing the space, his dedication to Cara Creek is apparent to everyone who’s visited. He designs and builds everything on site with love, energy, and creativity and is currently busy working on a new chill out deck, tipi space, and an extended private living space!
