We are delighted to announce our upcoming medicine retreat at Cara Creek Eco Lodge, Portugal in September 2024. Cara Creek Eco Lodge is a nature immersed retreat, lovingly built by our warm and friendly hosts, Rory and Ashley. It sits in a majestic valley where 2 rivers meet .They have worked hard to complement the land's beauty by building from natural and local materials. The venue is run on solar power and the water is supplied by the land. We have an experienced team of 5 facilitators that offer a variety of healing modalities during your stay, which includes:

Cacao is a sacred, heart-opening medicine that has been used in ceremonies for thousands of years by tribes in South and Central America. The ceremonial grade cacao that we use in our retreats and rituals is unprocessed and alive in spirit, with a soft feminine energy and powerful healing effects. On a physical level, cacao can help us form new neural pathways in our brain to release serotonin and dopamine, bringing feelings of joy and bliss. It’s also full of beneficial minerals such as magnesium, copper, zinc, iron and B vitamins. On an energetic level, cacao helps to open the heart and release blocked emotions and stagnant energy. This beautiful heart-opening ceremony will take you on a journey to feel more love, joy, compassion, creativity and connectedness. We will drink together, move together, breathe together, laugh together and maybe even cry together.

Hapé is a traditional indigenous mix of powdered tobacco and ash from medicinal plants within the Brazilian Amazon. Known as the ‘medicine of the mind’, we experience this medicine to support us prior to and during our ceremonial experience to help ground and support us. Hapé benefits us on all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Hapé also benefits us prior to injesting psilocybin as it can be a purgative medicine that cleans the body, especially the stomach and nasal passages.

'The Medicine Famalam'

Jacqui

A skilled practitioner working with the mind, body and spirit. She is a Medicine Woman, Cacao, Sound and NLP Practitioner, Reiki Master, Breathworker, Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Teacher and Sacred Celebrant.

Jacqui is the founder of Willowrose Retreats.

Arachai

A sound healer and artist delivering workshops and retreats internationally. He weaves together the instruments of didgeridoo, handpan, gong, singing bowls and voice to take you on a journey of sound and vibration. He uses the healing powers of the instruments along with many years of study, dedication and time spent with indigenous elders to deliver his unique offering.

Louie

Is known as ‘The barefoot peaceful warrior’. Founder of ‘Men of Awen Retreats’ and the ‘Cold Water Tribe’. He is a breathworker, Hapé facilitator and certified cold water therapist.

Genevieve

A song writer, vocalist and aspiring sound healer. You can find her on Spotify and Instagram

Leanne

A lover of all things movement and music. She is a qualified yoga teacher and Hapé facilitator.

Nature to nurture

From garden to table, your meals are prepared with seasonal and organic ingredients by the retreat chef, Hannah.

Experience sleep in close proximity with nature from the comfort of a cozy bed in an Eco Pod. They were designed and built by Rory who took inspiration from sacred geometry. Eco Pods do not have electricity, but do have a small solar lamp. Private accommodation comes as standard and bathrooms are shared. 

If you are booking as a couple, or friends booking together, you can share a pod. Please notify Ashley at the point of booking.

Booking Process and Cancellation Policy for Willowrose Retreats Ltd: 

At Willowrose Retreats Ltd, we understand that sometimes plans change. To ensure a fair and simple booking and cancellation process, please see below:

1. Deposit: €175 Deposit is required to secure your place and is not refundable. You can book your place and view payment options at www.caracreekecolodge.com

2. Cancellation Period: For cancellations made 60 days or more before the start of the retreat,

a full refund will be issued, less your deposit. Cancellations made within 15 to 59 days of the retreat will be eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the retreat are not eligible for a refund.

3. Requesting a Cancellation: Please notify Ashley by email to: caracreekecolodge@gmail.com

4. Early Departure: Early departure during the retreat is not refundable.

5. Exceptional Circumstances: In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseeable events, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please provide appropriate documentation to support your request.
